To my best friend
Thank you for being the man that you were and for loving me and others the way that you did. I’m forever grateful to have had the time that I did with you. I find comfort in knowing that you’re at peace and I’ll forever have a guardian angel watching over me. I love you always, Vonte. 🩷
My best friend
I met Devonte on halloween, and we instantly became best friends. I would see him every single day and we would always drive around Stephenville doing random things. He loved starbucks and panda express, so that is where we went pretty much every single day. He always knew when I was upset about something because he would just stare at me until I told him because that is the type of person he is. He was always wanting to help someone if they needed. I truly have never had a friendship like I had with him because we had a deep trust in each other. My favorite memory would be when we were sitting in my car and he turned me to look at him and he said you are my best friend I have and i love and appreciate you so much.
One of my best friends
Devonte was such a kind and helpful person I know and I am in college and it hard already to be in college but when you are by your self but when you find the one person who makes me feel like I am not alone no more was the one thing I was looking for was someone I could trust and I found that in Devonte, but I remember one memory that I had with him was we went to the movie theater back in stephenville and when we went he was drunk but he told me how much he appreciated me and how he loved me as a friend and he asked me to hug him twice and ofc I hugged him and I never relized that would be the only time I would get a hug and that hurts and and then he fell asleep in the movie theater and he was snoring and that was the best memory I have for him I miss him and I appreciate everything he did for me
